The POWERCAP® 2.5 Rechargeable LED Beanie is a warm knit or fleece LED beanie with a removable, rechargeable 150-lumen headlamp built into the brim. No coin cells or AAA batteries to replace: charge it by Micro-USB in about 4 hours and get up to 10.5 hours of light on Low. Whether you’re walking the dog at night, working outdoors, or preparing for emergencies, the POWERCAP® 2.5 keeps you warm and lets you see clearly with both hands free. It has four brightness settings from 15 to 150 lumens, IPX4 water resistance for rain and snow, and a light module that pops out so the beanie can go in the washing machine.

Charging

Micro-USB rechargeable.

No coin cells or AAA batteries to replace. Remove the light module and charge it with the included Micro-USB cable (about 4 hours to full). It charges from cell-phone wall chargers, USB power banks and USB computer ports.

Do not operate the light while it is charging.

How to Use

Press the power button on the front light module to cycle through brightness settings (15 lm, 35 lm, 80 lm, 150 lm). Adjust to your preferred mode for the task at hand. After use, remove the light module and recharge via the included Micro-USB cable. Beanie can be machine washed once the light module is detached. Do not operate while charging.

How bright is the POWERCAP 2.5 LED beanie?

Up to 150 lumens. It has four modes: Low (15 lm, up to 10.5 hrs, 8 m), Medium (35 lm, 5.4 hrs, 10 m), High (80 lm, 4 hrs, 15 m) and Max (150 lm, 50 mins, 19 m).

How do I charge it?

Remove the light module and charge it with the included Micro-USB cable. A full charge takes about 4 hours. Do not operate the light while it is charging.

Does it need batteries?

No replaceable batteries are needed. The 2.5 uses a built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery, so there are no coin cells or AAA batteries to buy.
